Very unusual saber made in France and purchased for Sweden by the sharpshooting corps and the military band in Gothenburg during the 1870s. Very beautiful parer plate in gilt brass with French lilies slightly reworked into crowns richly decorated coat and rolling pin with rolling pin. Fairly short saber 74cm without the scabbard. French manufacturer on the back of the blade and two stamps on the butt. Steel tub with two decorated fittings, one leash ring is missing, otherwise in good condition. (€437)
