Very nice saber for an officer in the navy or marine infantry. There are similarities with m/1837 but not quite a match. Marked on the mount and the blade both on the shoulder and the back of the blade. Made at Chaterullt. Double coarse blood grooves good gilding remaining, unfortunately traces of rust towards the tip see pictures. Unusual and beautiful saber, total length 95cm blade 80cm (590eur)
