An unusual bayonet made in Japan for the army of Siam (now Thailand) in 1903 text on the butt "RS 121" which stands for year of manufacture 121 of the Rattanakosin sok era which began in 1781 when Rama the 1 ascended the throne in Rattanakosin (now Bangkok) this bayonet was intended for rifle type 46 which was a license manufacture of German rifle 98.
